Sewers / Seamstresses / Tailors Needed - Nationwide

Location: Laramie, WY and surrounding areas preferred

We are looking for multiple people to work with as demand varies drastically.
Our products we are looking to produce include our fluffy leg warmers, hats, fiber optic clothing and more! All of our items use short or long pile faux fur or fiber optic fabric as the main fabric- some items require the use of a serger/overlock machine. Faux fur and other fabrics are cut here in our workspace; we then pass on those pieces to you for sewing and finishing. This job can be done either at home or in our workspace, we prefer someone who is able to work at location but are willing to work with highly motivated individuals who would prefer to work from the comfort of their own home.

While we are looking for small quantities of 5-10 items per week, at certain times we will ask for much larger quantities including multiple copies of an item to maintain inventory. We try to stock most items, so we do not have to require fast turnaround time, but when items are out of stock and a customer orders them, we ask you to finish the production within 1-2 days. Pay is on a per item basis, so this is a perfect position for someone looking to work around other scheduling and responsibilities.

When it comes to transportation, if you are not located in Laramie, we would ship patterns and pre-cut materials to you and then you would ship product back to us after it is finished. Ideally on occasion you may even package and ship some of the smaller orders direct to customers, thus shortening the amount of time a product spends in transit- we provide the label, and then the item is packaged and dropped off at your local post office, if that is something that you would be interested in and able to do. Occasionally we may require a rush on an order, at which point we would discuss what would be needed to have a shorter turnaround time, and make a pick up sooner. Please browse our website further to get a feel for the products we produce and the quality we require.

If this is something that you are interested in, please apply with your contact information and a brief description of yourself: your strengths, applicable work history, and what interests you about the position. We’d also love to see some examples of your work, especially projects you were very passionate about working on and projects you feel fit into the aesthetic we are looking for. We look forward to seeing if you would be a good fit for our team!

Pictures of your past sewing jobs would be nice, particularly pictures of the stitching itself, but if you don't have that on hand drop us a line anyway!
